Percy Jackson has arrived at Camp Jupiter with no recollection of the first 15 years of his life. He is accepted into the 5th cohort. He wanted to find his girlfriend, the only thing he can remember about his past life, but he is selected to go to Alaska and slay a giant. He goes to Alaska with Frank and Hazel, and they locate the giant, but the thing is, he's immortal in Alaska. So Frank figures out how to kill him, and they arrive home just in time to save the camp.
I liked the book because it had an amazing plot line with all of the dead mortals coming back to life, and the monsters never dying. I also like Greek/Roman mythology, so this book was a good book for me.
