A girl named Caitlin has Aspergers Syndrome. After a devastating school shooting, Caitlin's brother, Devon, was shot and killed. Now Caitlin is alone with her dad. Caitlin wants to finish her beloved brother's Eagle Scout project, but her dad is too depressed and sad to help at all. So Caitlin keeps working, and gets her dad to relax and help her finish the project. Then Caitlin brings it to school and makes lots of friends.
I LOVED this book! I could not put it down! One reason I liked this book is because there is always something interesting happening. For example, Caitlin stood up to a bully at school. Another reason I liked this book is because you can really feel the emotion of each character in the book, like when a boy named Josh is only mean because of something sad that happened in his life.
