Bella Swan wants Edward Cullin to make her a vampire like him, because she is madly in love with hem. But, he is madly in love with her too. He remembers the pain and suffering during his transformation, and refuses to let his beloved go through it. So, she continues to beg, and beg, and beg. Then, Edward agrees to change her, but on one condition. She has to become Mrs. Cullin first.
When I saw the movies, I was thinking, "Oh, I don't need to read the books, I already know what happens." I was so very wrong. This is the second book in the Twilight Saga, and I am enchanted by the wonder of this series. They are so poetically written, and there are surprises around every page corner.
