Then, we worked on grammar projects and small group work. We gave this time of our class the moniker "Grammar Time" and, of course, did a little M. C. Hammer dancing (because what day isn't complete without that?).
Finally, reading partners continued working through "Rules of the Game" - this time looking for details in the story that demonstrate Mother's support of and interest in Meimei's chess playing. While teams were reading, we also conducted brief writing conferences about yesterday's paragraph drafts in anticipation of next week's revision period.
