We started class by coding the words and definitions in lesson 6 of the vocabulary book. We then used cards, red (for false) and green (for true), as response tools for a series of questions using our new words. This gave us an opportunity to hear the words used in context again and to discuss their differences.
Then, in today's rotations, one group completed the vocabulary practice and another created a new stack in study stack.
The third group did a sorting activity in our interactive reading notebooks. Given the four types of conflict, students had to sort 12 different conflict scenarios. Students were allowed to use their notes for this.
