More dissection today of descriptive writing. Today we looked at a paragraph that wasn't organized by sensory details but was still descriptive. We used a "flower" model for recreating the writing plan for today's paragraph.
We started class by Look at a sample of a vocabulary simile using a current root set three word.
Rotations included small discussiong meetings for recent short stories; completing the word voyage discovery for root set three; and, finishing up illustrations for the book trailer projects.
At the end of the double period, we reviewed and practiced how to diagram sentences with direct objects.
