Double Period (Monday and Tuesday): We took notes on comparing with adjectives (part 1) and then did three group rotations:
-- completed all of the chapter questions for chapters 1 - 3 of The Breadwinner with reading partners
-- did practice problems with the grammar concept
-- met in small groups to look at character traits and details in The Breadwinner
We also used our "best sentence strategy" to write sentences using four of our vocabulary words.
